LifeVac Saves Another Life in UK Care Sector In Choking Emergency

LifeVac Saves Residents Life When All Else Fails

The team at LifeVac Europe are extremely proud to share brilliant news, LifeVac has helped saved another life in the UK care sector in a choking emergency.

An elderly male resident, who is a wheelchair user, was enjoying his food during dinner. He quickly came into difficulty when food became lodged in his airway creating a full airway obstruction.

Nurses acted very quickly delivering BLS choking protocol, which unfortunately failed to dislodge the residents airway obstruction.

A nurse quickly ran and grabbed their non-invasive airway clearance device, LifeVac, from it’s wall mounted box.

Within seconds LifeVac was applied and dislodged the gentleman’s airway obstruction, saving his life.

“Good device, does what it is supposed to do” – Nurse

I'm very pleased to receive more amazing news of LifeVac saving another life in the UK care sector. This is why LifeVac has been identified as an unmet medical need in this sector, to put an end to one of the leading causes of accidental death in adults over the age of 65. We are very proud of the reputation we have built in the UK adult care sector and the lives we save nearly every day.
