We are very pleased to share news that LifeVac Europe have partnered with Signature Care Homes
Signature Care Homes, chose to safeguard the wonderful people they care for in a choking emergency with the worlds scientifically proven, leading, safest and most effective airway clearance device….LifeVac.
We have spent the past two weeks traveling around Signatures care homes delivering our Face to Face training on the use of LifeVac in a choking emergency. This is where people receive hands on training with the LifeVac device and one of our Choking Charlie Manikins that replicates a choking casualty who is laying down, sitting (wheelchair) and standing.
Their Face to Face training will be followed by our easy to access e-learning training module which covers choking prevention, how to recognise choking, different types of choking, case studies, device overview (literature and video), how and when to use LifeVac (literature and video), which is then followed by a competency test where all passing students receive an additional training certificate.

In addition to the training for their group roll out, every LifeVac kit comes with a practice mask so people can also get a feel of their device before every having to a LifeVac in a choking emergency. If any staff member has a quick 5 minutes they can also scan the QR code on the LifeVac box which takes them directly to a training video.
